Dogmantics- Dog Training Television- Episode 1

Dogmantics Episode 1
Yes, the long awaited first episode of Dogmantics is finally here! I included in this episode the two most frequent requests for videos- How to stop a puppy mouthing and biting and How to interrupt unwanted behavior. Hope you all enjoy!

Check back on this description area for more helpful tips and info regarding these particular exercises. I had to edit down tons of info, trying to include only the most important information to make this show friendly to beginner clicker trainers, not just professional dog trainers.

Please remember to subscribe rate and comment to give me some feed back. Ive really put a lot of time and energy into this show. I really hope it will make a difference for those around the world in a town or city that doesnt have any clicker training classes or information on clicker training.

Episodes to follow will have: Tutorials- how to solve problem behaviors and how to teach new behaviors and tricks, Interviews, Understanding dog body language and communication, Contests, Field Trips, Clicker Puppy Tips, and ???? YOU DECIDE!

    I just stumbled …
I just stumbled across your videos and they’re great. I have a 1.5 year old mini schnauzer and she’s just started barking at ‘nothing’. She can be laying quietly and for no reason obvious to me, she just starts barking and will run from room to room barking. When I try to catch up to her to distrack her, she thinks I’m playing a game and continues to run around and bark.. what can I do to stop this?

That is just amazing! I’m trying it with my 9 week old ausse and it’s working alright, I think either a) her awards arn’t good enough (..I thought they were pretty good though..) and or B) She’s too distracted.
    But still, just amazing!

    What a great video! …
What a great video! Thanks, I’m going to start doing this straight away with my puppy(I wish I had found this earlier, I always wondered how to stop something in a positive manner). Though first I’ll have to convince my dad that clicker training really works, as when he grew up he was told to do things like shove your dog’s nose into their poop. He doesn’t do things like this with our pup, but still isn’t that positive. Does this eliminate the behavior, or only stops them doing it at that time?

    Thanks so much for …
Thanks so much for all the videos. There doesn’t seem to be any knowledgeable clicker/positive trainers in my area. Recently got a little poodle aussie mix. The positive interrupter has helped I’ve used it with digging in the yard. This puppy is probably more play motivated than food, but she is also very nippy when shegets excited as we play. She nips either on my hand that has a toy my leg or pants. If she does this I do say ouch cuz it hurts and then stop playing. Any other tips?
